Left ankle front hurts when i hit 3-mile mark when running (i'm 35 and run at 10-miles/hr). it's stings when my left foot lands. what could be wrong?

Foot and ankle pain: Onset of specific ant ankle pain while running is characteristic of doing an too much too quickly. Decrease your mileage by 50 % . K
Ie stop at 1 and a half miles. Slowly increase distance by 10 % per week. By gradually increasing you allow your body to accommodate to the forces it is facing. I assume that u are running on an even path ,for if it is inclined , the fact that only your left ankle
