A member asked:

Myson 22 having pain in right groin.ultrasound normal.advise correctve measure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The ultrasound: Should have excluded tortion (twisting of the vessels to the testicle), testicle tumors, and most cases of infection. Sometimes dilated vessels called varicoceles can be missed that cause an aching pain. Less severe cases of infection may not be seen . Severe pain can be caused by a kidney stone that refers pain to the scrotum. If symptoms persist, please see a urologist for further evaluation.
