I been on benzos for 10yrs, last month, had to leave my doc, she did a taper in 1 month. shouldnt it be longer?

Case by Case: Tapering from benzodiazepines has to be done gradually and can be done effectively in a month. However, the time period for a taper depends on multiple factors such as type of bzd (short/long acting), other prescription medications on board, co-morbid medical conditions, etc. Each patient's taper has to be individualized to their clinical situation.
