Doc has had me on prednisone 20mg for 10 days. tomorrow is last day. just one tablet a day. fine that doc isn't tapering the 20mg? for asthma.

Depends: Short bursts of prednisone are often given in this manner and don't require tapering.Bursts do not unsettle your system enough to require tapering, though your asthma control might.The final decision should be made by the prescribing physician who knows your history and exam and will follow your progress.
