Needs evaluation: Unless improving on its own, see your primary , an otolaryngologist or an experienced general surgeon. Benign or malignant tumors may arise from the lymph nodes, thyroid or salivary glands. Infections include cat scratch fever, hiv, TB etc. Anatomic anomalies- thryoglossal duct, branchial cleft cysts or even post traumatic hematoma. Get help.
