I'm about 6 weeks pregnant, went to er yesterday because i had some bleeding, pinkish-red....doc did a sonogram, sac was present but no fetal pole?

Maybe normal?: There are specific parameters to judge whether early pregnancy is abnormal. Based on measurements. Unfortunately, dates are not always reliable. I would not expect to see a fetal pole unless sac diameter is at least 16-20mm on transvaginal study (25mm abdominal scan). So if they said it was normal, believe it!
