Chances are good...: Call your doctor and tell him/her of your symptoms. Are you talking antibiotics? If nothing else it may decrease your concern and being anxious. Sorry you lost a tooth. Chuck.

Healing takes time: An extraction can normally hurt for 6-8 days...It may not necessarily be infected. I agree, your dr. Can look at it and tell.

Better or worse: Is it getting better or worse? It should be at least a little bit better every day. If you can't feel any improvement i would call and have it checked out.
