My wife just had a miscarriamiscarriage in early april. she was 13 weeks, and had a d&c on 4/9. is it safe to try conception before her first period?

Not Recommended: Would wait at least 1 more month. First of all she needs time for the uterus to get back down to normal size. Pregnancy too soon has a higher rate of miscarriage. Also she needs time for her body to start ovulating again. 13 weeks is not normal for a miscarriage so certainly an evaluation would be warranted before even attempting again.
