Levothyroxine sodium for hypothyroidism. how long before the weight starts to come off?

Response will vary: Weight loss does not necessarily come when treated with thyroid replacement for hypothyroidism or for any other reason. The medication takes time to work and may require dose adjustment to get the correct dose. Weight loss may or may not accompany proper treatment.
