Simple analgesics: I have never heard of anyone being prescribed a narcotic (opioid) for body pain from the flu ever. I know you are already on this rx and it may be you have developed opioid induced hyperalgesia from the oxycontin. The solution is lowering the dose not raising the dose. You should take Ibuprofen for the myalgias ( body ache from muscle pain).
