I have experiencing flu like symptoms since 26 december. sore throat and body, fatigue, not really a cough but some times. today ( 2 jan) my tonsils has white sores on it and i'm battling to swallow,no appetite. no swollen lymphs?

Pharengitis : I suggest seeing a doctor via telemedicine. This may be strep throat, although a virus such as COVID 19 is possible.

Symptoms: Agree with Dr. Romano. We can't say what the cause of your symptoms is. This could be from a number of causes. Getting strep throat and COVID 19 ruled out would be helpful.

Please see doctor: I would recommend seeing a doctor in person, as an exam can be done better that way and testing can be done in the office (for strep) and Covid testing in the office or at the lab if recommended. Tonsillitis or mono are other possibilities, and are diagnosed with an exam and possible testing. If you are not able to swallow fluids, dehydration is also a concern and needs in person evaluation.
