I had a cystectomy in 2013...no bladder and i wear a urostomy bag at all times. i have flu like symptons...body aches, left side hurts worse, get hot and cold and when i empty my bag the urine is thick and a little cloudy?

The question is whether the urostomy bag contains crystal sediment,mucus buildup or pyuria, a sign of bacteria build up. If it's pyuria from bacteria, is it just colonization with one or more bacteria species or is it a symptomatic infection? In view of your symptoms, I suspect a urinary tract infection & you should call your MD for instructions, testing& begin antibiotics until results are back.

Good morning. I had flu the beginning of the week. I treated myself with OTC meds. I felt fine do stopped meds. Last night my body started aching all over. Headache. Even lower back and bladder area is sore. I didnt sleep well at all.
I have pain in the bladder when I lie down on the bed. The pain is sudden and strong and then it goes away. I also ache under the abdomen left and in the middle when I bend over. I have had a cystectomy, urinary and blood tests.Found increased crp?

Do I have the flu, if my body aches and the temperature goes from hot to cold and having diarrhea? My nose is a little stuffy and slightly runny.
