I had 2 arthroscopy, still limited opening, clicks, anteriour disk displacement wr .surgeon suggested open joint surgery. i am afraid. what are the risks?

Slightly more: All surgery used 2 be done open when i started practice, & infections were rare as they r with scopes. Main difference is more post op pain & longer rehab depending what is done.
