Been on celexa (citalopram) for a month for depression and anxitey and before battled chronic constipation. after taking celexa (citalopram) i have no constipation why?

Celexa (citalopram) can do it: Meds. Like Celexa (citalopram) can have side effects. One of them is diarrhea. However, if your depression was causing your constipation and Celexa (citalopram) works and you are no longer depressed then constipation is also ended.
