Yes: Ekg is an interpretation of the electrical activity if the heart at a certain point in time. Used to measure rate and regularity of the heartbeats, damage to the cardiac chambers using electrical measures, drugs effects, etc. An ekg can be normal and still patient can have a heart condition.
