How i get rid of a bad tooth ache before gpoing to a dentist?

Heat & Ibuprofen: Ibuprofen should help alleviate the pain. The dosing depends on age/weight. Don't take if on blood thinners, pregnant, kidney, liver problems or questionably allergic without discussing with your doctor. Local heat and saltwater rinses might be helpful. If one sees redness or swelling around the base of the tooth contact a dentist asap as it might indicate an abscess.

Go to the Dentist: Many of us have experienced intermittent pains in a tooth that seem to go away by themselves if we rinse with warm salt water or brush and floss it really well. These may be caused by local irritants. If the pains persist however i would recommend seeing your dentist. This may be due to an infection that requires professional help.
