A member asked:

Hi, i want to know the procedure opticians apply at the hospital, while removing a contact lens stuck under the eylid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Good technique: When this happens, apply a drop or two of ordinary tear replacement to the eye and then pull lightly on the upper lid on its outside and have the patient look inwards and down. Almost always this will cause the lens to slowly march out of its recess and appear in the open space of the eye for removal.
