P Vera : P vera is now clumped under the new umbrella category of myeloproliferative neoplasms (or cancer) making it scary designation but historically it is considered a blood disorder and is usually not life threatening, risk of leukomogenesis is low and management by doing therapeutic phlebotomy is usually effective. Secondary causes can coexist and need to be ruled out. I hope it is helpful.
