See a doctor: Time to see a doctor. Is the umbilical hernia hard & painful or soft? You could have a stomach virus. You could have a hernia problem. Best to see your doctor for an exam.

Abd pain and hernia: Hernias can cause a variety of problems including abdominal pain. If you have a hernia that is causing obstruction of your intestines, this may result in abdominal cramping. Most commonly, hernias will cause discomfort at the site of the hernia. I would recommend that you contact your physician to have an evaluation.

See your doctor: If the pain is right at the area of the belly button, it could be due to the hernia. I suggest you see your doctor for an exam due to the severity of the symptoms.
