Yes : Whether or not you can get pregnant has nothing to do with the hernias. It is ok to get pregnant with previous hernia repairs. Unclear where the left sided hernia is. If it is in the groin, I would consider repair before getting pregnant. It is probably best to ask your hernia surgeon and have a check up to get a more complete evaluation. Hope this helps!
