Hip Replacement: I would keep dong my physical therapy. Keep your ortho appointments and ask him this question. This is hard to give a reply on line. Hope this helps and keep a positive attitude.

It may or may not: With each successive surgery on a hip, more scar tissue is created. The muscles around the hip are quite thick, and can become very fibrotic and stiff. The primary goal of revision is pain relief, and hopefully your mobility will return within the first year post-op. Work hard with physical therapy to improve your chances of a good functional outcome.
