A member asked:

I think i have a yeast infection and i'm reading about it online, but is it as horrifying and hard to cure as the internet makes it seem? i'm scared

Not complicated: Most yeast is easily treated with non-prescription creams (monistat, gynelotrimin (clotrimazole) or generics) available at all pharmacies. If the yeast comes back often, you may need more treatment from a provider. If the yeast follows a precription for antibiotics, be sure to ask for yeast medicine in the future if you need to take antibiotics.
