A member asked:

My blood pressure is very extreme. it was 156/95 one morning and in the afternoon 90/49. is that dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NO : It's not dangerous but it's hard to treat. I would want to rule out artifact - is the high pressure at complete rest? Is it measured at your medication's nadir? Is the low one measured at your medication's peak? Are you representing unusual extremes of of your blood pressure swings? Everyone has swings of their blood pressure but not so extreme and not that often.
