A member asked:

I am on lexapro (escitalopram) and vyvance. can i take my sumatriptan for migraines still?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, but be careful!: Lexapro (escitalopram) and sumatriptin both raise serotonin levels and pushed to excess, you could give yourself "serotonin syndrome". Read up on that and carefully consider whether these migraines are exacerbated by your menstrual period or other factors that could give you an alternative therapeutic approach. Vyvanse is a stimulant with 12% reporting headache as a side effect. Have you tried nuvigil/provigil?
