A member asked:

My rdw level is 19.3 do this mean i have polyecima?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Absolutely not: It's got nothing to do with polycythemia. It means that your red cells vary in size. This often means nothing whatsoever, especially if it's the only blip on your lab slip and your iron status is normal on your chemical profile. Rdw generally rises in iron deficinecy before anemia appears, so it may be a heads up.
