Possibly: The endocrinologist has more experience with adrenal nodules. He/she can make sure that you have had the correct tests done to make sure that it is nonfunctioning.

Ask your Doctor: We are sorry but we can not guess what is the reason for your doctor for referring you to an Endocrinologist.It may be he/she feels that Endocrinology will have more knowledge and expertice to recommend follow up for this mass which apparently was discovered on Cat Scan as incidental finding I will suggest you ask your doctor if it is really necessary for you to see an Endo
