A member asked:

I have a right adrenal mass with a history of cancer. should i be concerned that my new endocrinologist isn't worried about it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe: With a history of cancer, any bump or lump is scary. But most little adrenal nodules are not cancer. At the very least, it should be followed closely with surveillance imaging. Consider asking for input from a doctor that helped you with your prior cancer. As always, if you don't feel good about information you are getting from your doctor, don't hesitate to seek a 2nd opinion.
