Check with your doc: An ultrasound guided needle aspiration will get a quick answer and is no big deal. Discuss it with your doc. A 22 gauge needle should do the job.

Hello. I am a 37 year old woman. A few days ago I found a swollen bump under my skin on my left cheek near my ear. Over the next three days it spread to behind my ear and down my neck. It seems to be several swollen bumps that are connected and are painful to the touch. My ear doesnt hurt, just the bumps. Otherwise I am a little stuffed up and tired but I feel fine.
