Can you do a blood test on a fetus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible ,but: It is seldom done because it can trigger labor, miscarriage or infection. There are rare medical reasons where the risk may be needed to provide specialized treatment for the infant. It is not done for paternity testing due to its risks.
