NO.: Maternit21 is much more accurate than the ultrasound-dependent serum analyte screening. If the former is reassuring for your risk to have a baby with Down syndrome then the latter is irrelevant. Disregard the serum screening and decide about amniocentesis on the basis of the cell free fetal dna analysis. Most couples accept a <1% risk of Down syndrome without amniocentesis. Best of luck.
