Possibly: Most stomach viruses take 1-2 weeks to resolve. Instead of having 2 separate infections, it's possible he got back on a regular diet too quickly and flared up his symptoms again. This can happen when someone starts milk or spicy foods too soon. If he continues to have vomiting, diarrhea (watery stool >4-5/day), or fever he may need further evaluation.
