Also low carb: If the triglyceride levels do not respond to a vegetarian weight loss diet as recommended by the other answer, then you may need to rigorously reduce your sugar and carbohydrate intake. This would include anything containing potatoes, flours, pasta, rice and sugar. The liver produces triglycerides in proportion to body weight and carbohydrate intake.
