Yes, but not Rx : Alcohol does lower seizure risk, but i wouldn't use as 'anticonvulsant' given that benefit to risk ratio is very low.

Only for a while: If you are drunk, you have lower risk of seizures but once alcohol wears off, the risk of seizures increases more than if you did not drink at all.
