Eval 1st, med 2nd: What "works, " depends on clinical need. For instance, you'd have to assess why there's a sleep disturbance in the first place. These have many possible causes, and applicable medicines & other treatments would change accordingly. Please consider seeing a psychiatrist who can help you with your individual situation and concerns. If needed, a formal sleep study can be done also. Good luck.
