Not too uncommon: Bleeding early in pregnancy happens fairly often. In many cases this is due to a small separation between the uterus and the developing pregnancy. In some cases this could lead to a miscarriage but more often resolves on it's own and the rest of the pregnancy is without complication. Your doctor may check with the ultrasound on your next visit.
