My big toe nail is whitening. ..is that something i should be concerned with?

Leukonychia: Possibly could be something called leukonychia. Its a harmless white discoloration of the nail caused by minor trauma to the nail during its development. I would recommend evaluation by a podiatrist or dermatologist to be on the safe side as many diseases can cause nail changes.

Possibly: Could be superficial white mycosis or in english fungus.

Maybe...: It probably won't do anything the harm you. It could be just a superficial yeast infection of the nail. Try to treat it topically with formula 3 (available at many podiatrist's offices).
