Hysterectomy if Pain: Novasure is wonderful for reducing menstrual bleeding. Fibroids are benign tumors that are present in 25-50% of women during their reproductive years. Since you have pain and fibroids, the question is is the pain significant enough you desire relief to improve the quality of your life (ie. Worth surgical risks)? If you've completed your family then hysterectomy; if not, then myomectomy.
