Hydration: Focus on keeping the baby well hydrated with pedialyte. Both fever and diarrhea can increase insensible losses and therefore increase risk of dehydration. Keep the fever down with tylenol (acetaminophen). And see your pediatrician first thing today.

See a pediatrician: And do this asap. Diarrhea alone in a 9 month old should simply result in a need for hydration, but high fevers should require an assessment by a pediatrician for serious systemic illness with GI symptoms. A 9 year old can become critically ill very very quickly. Please have your baby seen and evaluated. Hope they are better soon.
