62 yo female w/ stge 4 colon ca has frequent urgency to release stool or pee. she had colon surgery a yr ago. why the freq bathroom trips?

Depends: What portion of the colon was removed at surgery? Removing the lower colon & rectum can result in more frequent bowel movements. I do not know if there are medications that she is taking that may affect her, or history of radiation treatments. Review with her doctor. Colonoscopy may be indicated.
