Can carpel tunnel cause fingers to swell with pain?

Not Usually swelling: Carpal tunnel syndrome can cause pain, numbness, and tingling in your fingers and palm, but it does not typically cause them to swell. This swelling may be a result of inflammation or circulatory issues in the fingers themselves, whereas carpal tunnel is caused by inflammation of the median nerve that runs through your wrist. If your fingers continue to swell, see your primary care physician.
