Yes: If you and the mother are so inclined you can take on the role of wet nurse provided you are healthy.

Not a good idea: Years ago there were wet nurses to feed babies whose moms had inadequate milk. Now there are infant formulas. In addition, there are a number of undetected infections that can be transmitted through breast milk and there are plenty of lawyers around.
