: Infants born at term gains weight 1.5-2.0 lbs per months. If your infant's weight is in expected range, you are very likely producing enough breast milk. I would rather recommend to add infant formula as supplement if you truly are not producing enough milk. Contrary to general belief, every mother does not produce enough milk.
