A member asked:

My doctor won't do the surgery to stop my acid refulx he said too risky well how risky is it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Every operation: Has risks v. Benefits. You surgeon has determined that potential risks are greater than potential benefits in your individual case. It is a complex decision based upon many factors. If you don't like his opinion, get another one, but all surgeons are trained to perform surgery only when it is the best thing for that patient.
