Neuropathy: The maximum dose for Lyrica (pregabalin) is 300mg twice a day. However, check with your physician to see in this is appropriate and how to slowly adjust the dose. There are other medications that could be tried for neuropathic pain. However, discuss with your doctor what could be the cause of your neuropathy and try to work on the cause.

Lyrica (pregabalin) & Neuropathy: One first has to know what is causing the neuropathy before making a treatment recommendation. That have being said, 150 mg of Pregabalin (lyrica) may not be at a therapeutic dose for your condition. May be worth increasing dose after discussing with doctor. Also, it can take a few weeks before noticing a difference. Something you'll notice it was helping after you stop it!

Alternatives: Sometimes people are not happy with lyrica (pregabalin). If you think taking more may help, you should consult with the person who provided it first. If you do not want to use it, be sure to get instructions about tapering the dose slowly. There are other options for this condition- medicine options include gabapentin and amitriptyline. Good luck!
