A member asked:

Can i take my baclofen 20mg 4x a day with a lyrica 150mg 1 x a day safely? i have both neuropathy in legs and feet and cervical dystonia?

Yes, you can safely take both, as Lyrica has no appreciable drug-drug interactions for the most part. The side effects of drowsiness and dizziness from each could be additive, and it might be unsafe to drive, however, so, let your doctor know if problems emerge.

Yes, the dosing is usually safe, but how did you get to these doses, and is the once a day Lyrica at night? If the dose has recently changed and it is giving you problems, discuss the issue with your pharmacist and doctor. Baclofen should be taken on a 6 hour schedule to prevent "on and off" symptoms. Fatigue or sleepiness on these medications can affect your safety in driving. Take care.
