Surgery: It is a rare condition in which a fatty tumor arises within a joint with the knee being most commonly affected. The only effective treatment is surgical removal of the tumor. It is a benign tumor, so the surgery is done for relief of symptoms and is usually quite effective.

Arthroscopic resecti: It is very rare benign tumor , adipose( lipoma , fat) tumor protecting like a tree( arborescens ) from synovial membrane of the joint. If non operative treatment fails , arthroscopic resection of the involved tissue could be done. Speak to your ortho. Surgeon.
