Likely you will.: That sounds like a severely degenerated knee, especially for someone of your young age. That youth will likely relegate you to surgical correction - knee replacement - at some point, usually when the knee starts to feel unstable of if the pain becomes so severe that you simply can no longer use the knee effectively. But why is the knee so bad?
