Unlikely: Most often the expiration date tells you when the medicines lose their effectiveness.

Expiration dates: This is an old issue. The expiration date is date at which medicine is no longer guaranteed to be of the stated potency. This doesn't mean that on the day after the date, it drops to no effectiveness. Most dry medication (capsules, hard pill) will be potent for a long time after the expiration date. If you are treating something serious it is best to pay attention to those dates.
