Took 2 levaquin 500 mg early this year for sinus but stopped due to side effect. saw dangers with this med. am i still susceptible? cipro (ciprofloxacin) years ago.

Side effects: They are both in the same class of antibiotics (the floxacins). The standard of care is not to treat with antibiotics for 2 wks because most sinusitises resolve spontaneously within that time frame. Also, 98% are viral and antibiotics are useless for them.
