Get evaluation: With no know reason for the lump and if it has been there for more than 2 weeks you should have a dentist evaluate the lump in order to get a diagnosis. Without diagnosis there can be no treatment. This could be a serious problem.

See your dentist: You should see your dentist to rule out a more severe cause such as oral cancer. He will be able to recommend treatment if necessary.
